Throatlake is an established Irish Art Gallery committed to making fine art, and in particular fine Irish art, available simply and directly to as wide an audience as possible at affordable prices. Our primary aim is to promote high quality and affordability alongside our guarantee of confidentiality, professionalism and a first class service to all of our customers around the world.
We showcase prominent works by a number of principal artists. Hamilton Sloan, our bestselling oil artist, paints outstanding figurative work with the typical Donegal themes of turf cutting, fishing and beach scenes. Paul Holmes, a watercolour specialist, paints mainly Irish scenes in a loose flowing and atmospheric style. Darren Paul, sought after by a growing number of collectors, concentrates mainly on painting the seascapes, landscapes, townscapes and figures of Ireland in an impressionistic and figurative style. Sue Howells, a renowned English artist who has been working with us for a number of years now, has developed a bold and vivid style to express her view of the world and bring perspective to her paintings and is known for her interpretation of landscapes and buildings.
Our premium collection features works that are of the highest quality and are considered to be at the top end of the market both in terms of their rarity and desirability. If you are looking for something specific and we do not have it in stock, please enquire and we will make every effort to source it on your behalf.
Clients who register in our personal gallery will be kept fully up to date with the latest pieces which we feel would be of interest to them and will receive interesting and exclusive information about the gallery and it’s artists.
